AISH Certification Upgrade Application
Advance Your Professional Designation
AISH offers certification upgrades for practitioners who have completed additional advanced training and are ready to reflect a higher level of professional competency and scope.
Eligible Certification Upgrades
You may apply to upgrade your certification as follows:
- Associate → Hypnotherapist
- Hypnotherapist → Clinical or Transpersonal Hypnotherapist
- Transpersonal Hypnotherapist → Master Transpersonal Hypnotherapist
- Hypnotic Life Coach → Master Hypnotic Life Coach
Training Requirement
Applicants must submit documentation verifying the required hours of approved advanced training completed after earning their current AISH certification.
Examples of Acceptable Training:
Qualifying education may include, but is not limited to:
Advanced Hypnotherapy
- Clinical or transpersonal hypnotherapy training
- Advanced regression methods (age regression, past life, future life)
- Medical-support or adjunctive hypnosis
- Trauma-informed or specialized clinical approaches
Integrative & Holistic Modalities

Energy-based or consciousness-focused healing modalities

Somatic or mind-body approaches

Spiritual counseling or transpersonal psychology methods
Coaching & Applied Practice

Advanced hypnotic coaching programs

Integrative or consciousness-based coaching certifications

Advanced practitioner-level coaching education
Conferences & Continuing Education

AISH-approved conferences

Qualifying professional conferences or intensives related to hypnotherapy, integrative health, or consciousness studies

Approved workshops, live trainings, or virtual programs
Professional Development

- Documentation verifying additional training hours
- Documents may be uploaded using the secure form below
- Payment of the $35.00 certification upgrade fee
Important Notes
- Your annual renewal date remains the same
- Upon approval, only your professional title and certificate designation will be updated
- Upgrades are subject to AISH review and approval
